We implemented two interdisciplinary consciousness workshops at Binghamton University in 2021 and 2022, finding that as a result of the workshop, students shift their perspectives the questions of who is your research audience, how does your identity influence your research, how does your research epistemology compare to others? These conversations are not common at the undergraduate level and can improve interdisciplinary educational outcomes. We made our workshop protocol available on the Humanities Commons. We've presented this work at the International Network of the Science of Team Science and the Council for Undergraduate Research. One manuscript is under review and another in preparation.
